William Seale is an American historian and author whose work is focused on historical writing and the restoration of historic American buildings, notably state capitols. He is editor of White House History the award-winning journal of the White House Historical Association.

WONDERFUL book to give as a gift. Beautiful photographs, big heavy book. Can't wait to read through it. Saw author on TV interview and I'm fascinated with his information.
