I've read a few of Ms. Macombers books, and like her style. Characters and situations are relatable, found myself chuckling/laughing outright at times. I see it all n my mind as I read, and that's one of the reasons I enjoyed her books.

Okay, I know this was a bargain book but with the author name of Debbie Macomber I thought it would be a good read. I am sad to report my assumption was wrong. Debbie's story line was okay but it was a very slow read and very little plot. Most of the text was made up of the character's thoughts of what they should or should not say or do between characters, with very little action. I became bored and started have flash backs of high school boy-girl drama scenarios. Sorry Debbie, I've got to rate this read One star.

This a fantastic read and I highly recommend it to someone who likes to have fun while getting to the "happy ending". I love this author.

I have read most of her books and loved them. This one just doesn't seem to be one she wrote at all. I had a hard time finishing it and I have never had that experience with her other books. I would still read her new books.
