    X

I first read Descent to the Depths of the Earth when I was child and absolutely loved it. I am very excited to find this book available as a nook read! But why is Descent not available? :(

    Read it twice!

Read this when it first came out and re-read it a couple years ago. Great humor and adventure and character interaction.

If all books were this good id never get anything done

I finished White Plume Mountain in just three days. I had to order the next two books (Decent into the Depths of the Earth and Queen of the Demonweb Pitts) so I read it a second time while waiting for them to arrive. I finished the second two in four days. Im I getting my point across yet? They were good, really good! I laughed and sweated the whole way through. I found myself moping around the house for days wishing there were more books. Youll read these if you know whats good for you.

    Entertaining

I could care less if this book follows the module. It was fun to read and worth the money, unlike most of the recent Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, and Greyhawk books.

    Fun

I loved these characters the Justicar is just awesome. I fully enjoyed this book and recommend it to all lovers of fantasy novels. I am the type of person who takes a week or two to finish a book. This one was done in two days as soon as I was finished with it, I ran out, that night, and bought ¿Decent into the Depths of the Earth' just so I could get my Justicar fix. I just finished the newest book in this series. 'Queen of the Demon Web Pits' released 10/15/01 In all three books there was a level of ¿cheese¿ I did not care for. I felt that the occasional use of modern day slang was a bit out of place. That being the only reason I did not rate this book as a 5 star. I look forward to reading more of Paul Kidd¿s work. Come on Paul I need more, more damn you more!!!!!

    An interesting read.

Having played the module when I was a kid, I was a bit skeptical about this book, I really didn't think it would compare to the adventure. Well, it was pretty true to the module and written well. For anyone who's ever played the game, this book will bring back a few memories. I do remember the module being a little harder than the novel implies though.

    I expected more

This book is slow starting, and the language is not for young readers. The charcters are boring in the begining, but come alive near the end. If the next book in the series starts like this one ends it should be better than this one.
