Really good read and great pictures!

This is a great book if you like comics. The pictures are great and the story line is good as well. It ends on a cliff hanger so you want to read more of it.

    Comic Book, not Tamara Pierce

This was very disappointing. Tamara Pierce has always been my favorite, but this is truly of comic book quality and only Ms. Pierce's name on the cover links it to her past works.

I really enjoyed Pierce and Briones as a team on this book. It really didn't read like just a run of the mill comic book. It was really engaging and fun. The dialogue was funny and the book had had some cool cameos by other superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Daredevil.

As a reader of graphic novels and superhero yarns, I was incredibly excited to get my hands on this new transformation of White Tiger. Angela Del Toro is a fierce, independent woman with sharp wits and a shero's mentality. Sure, she may have started out her life of masked heroism by being kicked off a roof in the Daredevil series, but she fights back with a vengeance. It is rare to find such a strong and capable woman (particularly in Marvel comics) who isn't depowered, beaten, or viewed as a sex object and little else. THIS tiger has claws, and she tears into the superhero scene like nothing else. The story itself is gripping and laced with fabulous dry humor, as well as foreshadowing of the Civil War. Pierce and Liebe have created a phenomenon here. I highly recommend this stunning and social-construct-breaking graphic novel!

Love this title. Tamora Pierce and Tim Liebe tell a kickbutt story without pulling punches. Another great thing about this book is it is not a typical superhero story. And the art is AWESOME!
