About the Author

Valentina Zucchi was born in 1977 in Biella, Piedmont. She first graduated in History of Modern Art and then in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and has been working on the relationship between museums and visitors ever since. Valentina has lived in Florence since 2004, where she devotes herself to enhancing the collection of The Florentine Civic Museum, which is where the idea for this series of books about colours came from.

Francesca Zoboli was born in 1960 in Milan, where she still lives. She graduated in Visual Design in 1981, at the Polytechnic School of Milan, then in 1985 graduated in painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. After working for a period as a graphic designer, she founded an interior design company with two partners in Milan in 1990 called L 'O di Giotto.

Katherine Gregor translates from Italian, Russian and French. She is also a playwright and a fiction writer and maintains a regular blog.
