My Favorite Book

Boys, boys, boys! This book is telling many stories about girls, and a few boys, on how the love game is. Some of the stories involve girls having crushes on a certain boy or even their own friend, unattractive girls who get teased, girls who like someone of a different culture. Also, there is a certain story about a young girl who is mixed, becomes pregnant, and wants to give her child up for adoption. Her boyfriend is in jail. While this is happening, her father kicks her out and she must live in a shelter for girls who are like her. She meets a boy who is speacial ed. And she begins to use him. This situation does not end well. This book is geared towards teenagers. You will enjoy this book!

    WHAT A BOOK

My opinion about Sharon G. Flake is that she is a good writer. I say this because these 10 short stories are like real situations. Some may be sad, or funny. But the way you gotta look at it is that some teenage girl wants the cute popular boy, and when most girls want a boy bad they do anything to get them. I know girls who will disrespect themselves to get a boy. Most of the times the stories take place at school. Then you girls wanting the bad boy but at the end of trying to get him he dont want that girl. This story will teach ayoung lady a lesson especially if your a girl like one of these girls.I also think most teens will like this book because you can realate it to real life.

    Read it because...

I loved this book. The author for me was right on point about all these problems. I can relate to alot of them. Also even if u havent come across a heart ache you will and you should read this book to help you realize the error of your ways. This book taught me that to not let a guy treat me like dirt. I reccommend this book to anybody that has problems in there relationship and needs something to help u realize what to do. I doubt you will be dispointed.

    Who Am I Without Him?

I'm 19 so I really didn't enjoy this book. Its targeted for younger adults 12-16. There are some really great lessons in this book for that age group. I only decided to purchase it because after reading the reviews I seen that older individuals were recommending it to everybody. But I don't think very many people over the age of 16 will find this book interesting. Don't get me wrong its a really great book but just for younger adults.

    It Was Horrible

With just getting out of an extended relationship I was looking for some insight to help me through. I didn't find any from this book. The characters in the book were very immature and shouldn't have been in any type of relationship to begin with. I didn't really see the point of the book. It just told stories about girls who had something happen to them with boys involved. The book didn't give any advice or show any light on how to get through break ups or hardships. It was basically a waste of my time to read it. I'm 15 years old and I feel like I'm more mature than the girls in the book that were 17. If you wanting to read this book to find strength to move on, you won't find it here, but if you want to waste your time then this book is for you!

    Sage's Journal- Siren Gone~ Day 1

Sage walked in, eyes red and puffy. She opened her little leather bound journal...and wrote-

Sage Roades. November 23
He left me. Siren left. I, honestly, can't believe he left me without a good-bye. Today, he left for a military misson, and broke up with me in a letter. Seriously. I mean are you kidding me? He probably was in a hurry but i can't even comprehend why he hates me. I love Siren. There, i wrote it. He is my heart and soul. But he left. I really don't know why i ever try to be with a boy. Jak cheated on me. then, four weeks later, i accept Drake. Whadda know, he dated me only for popularity.
Siren. Not a day will go by that i don't think of him. I will write everyday till my love returns. In honor of Siren, I have been training for the army. Shootin' for either Navy Sniper or Air Force pilet. If siren hates me so much, he won't care. I hope he does....
