Meet Tilly the lamb, an irresistible character for very young children. Tilly was snoozing in the sun when someone tickled her nose! But when she looked around, no one was there. Tilly decides to investigate, and so begins a gentle search for the culprit. Crow claims he was too busy to tickle her nose and suggests she ask Frog. From the Publisher

"Brightly colored illustrations fit the tone of the story perfectly, and the visual representations of each animal are warm and inviting." —School Library Journal
School Library Journal
PreS—Tilly the sheep awakens from her afternoon nap because her nose has been tickled. She sets out to discover who is responsible, visiting a host of animals from crows and bunnies to frogs and pigs. Tilly's nose is mysteriously tickled one more time before it is finally revealed that the culprit is a frisky dragonfly who just wants to play. Brightly colored illustrations fit the tone of the story perfectly, and the visual representations of each animal are warm and inviting. This is not specifically a spring story, but it would be fun to read at that time of the year, as many of the animals are babies. Adults might be tempted to dismiss it for being too saccharine, but the overall presentation has guaranteed child appeal.—Amy Commers, South St. Paul Public Library, MN
