My favorite character is Amelia because she was funny and she was a dare-devil. She also liked to fly planes and she was nice.

Amelia: A Fictional Story Part One- by Kaitee N. Hart

Muriel was curled up in her little bed, cuddling with her toy lamb. I got out of bed as silently as I could. Last night, I knocked down a pile of books while doing this. Well, anyway, it worked tonight, so I snuck out of the door. I silently put an ear to the door across the hallway. Both grandparents were snoring. What bothers me, though, is the fact that they snore SIMULTANEOUSLY. Creepy, right? I tip-toed down the hallway, much like a mouse, and headed out the door. That's when I took of at a bolt, almost as fast as time itself. Or so I thought. I started climbing up the ramp to the little roller coaster that I had made. I was about to climb in. "Amelie Earhart! What in the world are you doing out here?! Get to bed! Now!" And there went my little ray of sunshine. &star &star &star

    Great for kids!

This series of books is great for elementary school kids to learn about historic figures. We have this book and Harriet Tubman. My daughter used both books to help write biography reports for school.
