This was a great book. It proved a great insight into a wonderful part of our american history. It was a good read - interesting, not too long, and provided alot of 'extra facts' abou the period and people of that time.

My son is 9 years old and loves to read all these "Who Was' books... they are not so long (so it isn't overwhelming to see a fat book to read) and they are easy to understand... He feels very proud when he finishes one and has gained so much knowledge too.

You should read this book because its really outstanding to see what indians did back then and why some people stole some indians and how they escaped from the people who stole them.
