Jack Hassard is Professor Emeritus of Science Education at Georgia State University. He has authored 22 books on science and science education, and led the development of constructivist-based teacher education programs and professional development seminars for teachers of science. His Global Thinking Project, an Internet-based science teaching project, established one of the first telecommunications networks between American and Russian educators.
Joseph Abruscato, Professor of Education at the University of Vermont, has worn many hats as teacher, researcher, and coordinator, among others. His book Whizbangers and Wonderments was named an outstanding educational technology resource and service for educators nationwide by Media and Methods magazine and he was awarded the Class of 2001 Award for Positive Influence on the Life of Students. He has published many books and articles on science and education throughout his career.
