    If you are concerned about your health - read this book!

    I think every person in the world must read this book if they want to live a long healthy life. It is amazing what a negative effect soy can have on your body. I call the soy producers the "Soy Cartel". The way they have to process it to make it worth eating is ridiculous. Soy really doesn't have any nutritional value and it's in so many foods (even most soy sauce isn't the real thing unless it's made in Japan and soy sauce is about the only 'soy product' that is okay to eat, due to the way it is processed.) People who have fed their infants soy milk have noticed their babies developing breasts and some infant girls have had vaginal discharge!! It is used as a food additive to help keep foods thick and sticking together - so it's everywhere (soy lecithin). It is often hidden is "vegetable oil". If a food item says it has "vegetable oil" in it - it's probably soy oil. Look on a food item and in bold at the bottom of the ingredients, it will state, "this product may contain soy products". Now, why is that unless it's because they are hearing more and more about soy allergies, etc.? (Soy is one of the most common food allergies in infants - google it.) By the way all you men, soy has high amounts of estrogen....which may effect your 'manhood'. The "soy cartel" is just like the "corn cartel". Corn is everywhere - it's in so many foods in one form or another! Allergies are often developed when you eat so much of something all the time. Read this book if you want to eat healthy and perhaps you might find that some ailment you have is from soy. I can't believe they market soy has good for your health! I must say it's very hard to cut out soy...we are working on it as a family (even if I have to order 'real soy sauce' from Japan!). If you go out to eat you can bet there will be soy someplace in your meal. Read the book and pass it on! Consumers can make a change!

    Solved my mystery long-term illness!

    Do you hate being duped by marketing? And, where is the FDA in all of this? For years, I, along with millions of other healthy eaters, thought we were doing the "right thing" by drinking soy milk and eating soy foods. Little did I know the danger I was inflicting on my body. Fortunately for me, my body has recovered completely. A few of my friends have not been so lucky - Graves Disease and heart disease!
    Consumers - beware.

    Soy intolerant

    This book gave me more than I wanted to know. But it is a frightening account of how the agri-businesses have sold Congress and the food processors a bill of goods. Soy is not a health food, and I wonder how many people are unaware that their health problems are caused by soy. My problems began when soy was suddenly getting big (where was it before the 80s?), and gradually got worse and worse. Think of children ingesting soy from birth, and as adults going from doctor to doctor to find out what is wrong. This is must reading for every parent.

    NO SOY!!

    This is the best book on the dangers of soy. Buy it! This book has helped me immensely, and I refer to it frequently. Buy it!

    Whole Soy Story: The Dark Side of America's Favorite Health Food

    Kaayla Daniel has written a surprisingly thorough and enlightening book about soy, a food that most people think is healthy. She links the increased use of soy infant formula and the increased presence of soy foods in the health food stores and supermarkets to an epidemic of health problems such as thyroid disease, infertility, loss of sex drive, ADD, even some types of cancers. Surprisingly enough, it isn't even good for preventing heart disease. I know this personally because I increased my homocysteine level (a risk factor for heart disease) after I started drinking a lot of soy milk and my wife Gloria went into hypothyroidism. The only change in our diets was soy and we have since gone off it and slowly have been getting back our good health. I wish I'd had this book a few years ago as we could have saved ourselves a lot of suffering. This book is sure to be viciously attacked as its truth collides with the falsehoods and hype put out by the soy and food processing industries. So I want to offer my support with this review and 5 stars.

    Whole Soy Story: The Dark Side of America's Favorite Health Food

    I can honestly say this is one of the best and most thought provoking books I've ever read. Dr. Kaayla Daniel is a major 'dot connector' who helped me understand -- after years of suffering -- why my health conscious diet was leaving me so sick and tired. I am horrified by the level of deceipt and corruption that has gone into the selling of soy as a 'good protein' and 'health food.' It is not, and Dr. Daniel tells us why. For years I was so in denial that I ignored what my own body was telling me. She made me rethink what I had taken for granted, and I thank her for it.
