William Gurstelle is the author of Adventures from the Technology Underground, Backyard Ballistics, Building Bots, and The Art of the Catapult. The number of hours he’s spent crafting fighting robots and catapults instead of working at, say, his normal job (as an engineer) is, in Bill’s own words “scary to contemplate, but it serves a purpose.” When not building devices that make stuff go whoosh, boom, and splat, Bill is a contributing editor at Make magazine and writes frequently for Wired, The Rake, and several other national magazines. He lives in Minneapolis.

This is a great book!
Sorry. Put in the wrong res number. Eh, I thought you'd figure it out. So. Crushes. Adder: Is mates wih Flamelight. They have three kits. Echoglaze: Well, she has a sort of crush on Dragonstar, but he's not on a lot. *sigh.* Rainsong: Not yet. She's hoping though. Cinderclaw: There aren't any toms in her clan. Mintlight: Not REALLY, but she think she and Leafstar could be good friends. Ashen: Not in the slightest. If the right tom comes her way, then maybe. Ashclaw: I sincerely doubt that. He's slightly creepy and always speaks in Elizabethian. So I doubt any she cats like him. Frostfire: No. Just no. She vowed never to take a mate a long time ago and has stuck with that. And lastly, NightShade: She's really distant and doesn't make friends easily, but she has a slight crush. I know it sounds ridiculous, but she kind of likes DarkSparrow, partly because he comes across as distant, too. Well, friends that's all.
Tigermoon dipped her head to the leader. She then looked around.
