This book really hits the proverbial nail on the head. Am glad I purchased it. Learned much more than I thought I would. The author's personal story was really intriguing too.

This book really explained in vivid detail (very vivid) how the criminal justice system really works from the inside out, from top to bottom. The author actually wrote this book while still in prison! I guarantee that if you start reading this book, you won't be able to put it down and you will learn a lot and be entertained as well.

I must say that this book was long overdue. Many have tried but this author perfected it. I encourage all to read this book. I was greatly impressed with the outstanding statistics as well as the heart wrenching real life experiences of the author. I can¿t wait to read his next book. I surely hope that there is a next book. Men and women can relate to the topics and situations that occur within this book. I am going to buy copies for some of my family members ASAP.

The black community really needs to pay attention to this prison problem, because too many of our men are faced with prison in this country. This author is really crying out for attention to be placed on this issue before it is too far gone. Very good book.

This book is excellent! Although it is written with mostly the young black male in mind, I (a young white woman) gained great insight and infomation on the struggle faced by African-American youth and the injustice of the US Judicial system. The overwhelming facts filled in this book challenge us to wake up and take a serious look at the way judicial laws have been set in motion to destroy not only the opportunity for basic freedoms and liberties allowed to most in the US, but it also uncovers the hidden agenda to destroy the black family stucture, the rich history of the African-American and other indigenous groups, and to keep a people locked into a slavery state. If you care about the world we are creating for generations to come, you will buy this book and share it with others.
