    Unique, Informative, Humorous, Handsome Book

So much is packed into this book, without ever weighing it down. This is the 4th or 5th book by this author and her keen, quick insight into cats is shared with a warm intimacy characteristic of her other writings. The lighthearted explanations for why cats do the things they do are charming but not mushy, clever but not cutesy: and in my opinion they are right on the mark. From the great line drawings to the delightful text, this book is handsome (and helpful) all the way through. I highly recommend it. Lots to love here for the cat lover and even the 'almost' cat lovers out there. 'Why Cats Do That' WILL illuminate your understanding of and your appreciation for the enigmatic feline.
