Why Don't You Write Me?

All Music Guide - Steve Leggett
When the Cadets met the Jacks it was an intimate reunion indeed, since they were the same group. This second volume in Ace Records' Cadets/Jacks reissue series is maybe a step down from the first, 1994's Stranded in the Jungle, but just barely, and includes gems like "Why Don't You Write Me," "Since My Baby's Been Gone," and "This Empty Heart" (all of these being assigned to the Jacks, but who's counting?). Great stuff.
