Overview

Why Forgive brings together incredible, true stories of ordinary people scarred by violence, who refused to let hatred control their lives. Together they create an irrefutable testimony to the power of forgiveness, one that will challenge, inspire, and encourage others wherever they are on the road to healing. Unlike other books on the subject, Why Forgive doesn't preach or theorize. Instead, Arnold offers easily understood real-life accounts in which people who have earned the right to talk speak for themselves.

A well-loved guide on topics ranging from sexuality, death, and parenting, to forgiveness, peace, and prayer, Johann Christoph Arnold is a best-selling author whose books draw on wisdom gleaned from a lifetime of counseling couples and singles, teens, prison inmates, the aged, and the terminally ill. A pastor and father of eight, he is widely sought as a speaker at campuses and conferences around the globe.

This book opened my eyes to the real act of forgiveness. It is to give forgiveness even when it hasn't been asked for. A truly life changing book. I will always remember the stories of real forgiveness and the heartache of those who did not. An excellent book that is very easy to read. You can't put it down!!
