Meet the Author

Walid Shoebat was born in Bethlehem of Judea, Israel. As a young man, he became a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel. After moving to the United States, Walid studied the Bible in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam in 1993. Instead, Walid became the convert... to Christianity.

amazing story of terrorist changing his life

"why I left Jihad" is a very remarkable story by a terrorist in the middle east who grew up blowing up and murdering innocent citizens and threatening the peace. walid shoebat tried to get his wife to switch to islamic terrorism but he found and looked into his faith with a strong challenge from his wife as a result he left his hatred for the jewish race and the jihad and switched faiths. gives a great perpective on the inner workings of many terrorist organizations . I learned alot about my faith and the terrorism that threatens our world and what I didnt know.
