    A useful book

A good book to read in order to look at yourself from outside perspective in our fast moving time, to discover yourself in our globalised world.

    A very compelling read

It is difficult not to be impressed by the quality of scholarship, erudition, clarity and wit on display in this very excellent book. I've read a number of works on the subject of loyalty before, but none enrich our understanding of its importance for life and business quite the way this book does. I can't recommend this book enough. A must read for anyone looking for the so-called secrets of success.

    Super from start to finish

This is a powerful book that is most directly applicable to running and developing small businesses. If you are looking to build a small business or expand/ reengineer an existing one, growing your employee and customer base is critical. Some of the material in this book is really a step-by-step guide to building both. As well, it does a pretty good job of blurring the lines of the little picture- so that you can see the bigger picture (people are people, whether they're at work, in the store or spending time with family).

    Very worthwhile read

Why Loyalty Matters is an enjoyable read that offers many personal insights. However, for me the most interesting aspect was how the principles discussed can be successfully applied to the consulting business. Building a portfolio of loyal clients will help a company expand and survive in a competitive marketplace.

    disappointing

The authors chose a worthy subject. Unfortunately like many other non-fiction new releases, more energy is put into choosing a subject that people want to read about than is put into crafting the book. So, the topic of loyalty comes up at a party - this book is the guy that tells everyone everything he thinks is relevant to the subject in the order that it comes to his mind and then directly to his lips. There are some useful bits in this book but it is poorly organized and could have been written with half as many words. This was a painful read. I hope that a book with more thought than this one is written on loyalty in the near future.
