Dr. Shoshana begins her exploration of the reasons men leave...not knowing what to expect..maybe fearing only few men would respond to a venue to talk about reasons they have left a relationship. While there will always be as many reasons as there are people, there is one theme that seems to emerge often: that men often leave because they can't completely satisfy their mate......and, no that doesn't mean sexually...but more often satisfy all the expressed needs of the woman.Whereas a good sexual relationship is usually necessary in a relationship...what also is important is that a man be with a woman with whom 'he does a good job', i.e. one in which they are mutually satisfied. Some points that were made were: ' some men are looking for their mother', or men are not as articulate about their own needs. The author feels there is usually more hope when each spouse will communicate and LISTEN WITH THEIR HEARTS.Was this review helpful?
