More About This Book

Overview

Oftentimes we face challenges or problems. We may ask ourselves, why did this happen? Why is this happening to me? Why God, why me? Because of God's love for us, why not ask why NOT me? When we are able to come through life's challenges not only will our faith grow, but our tests will be a testimony of encouragement to others.. God will use our testimony to bring others to Christ.

The challenges of life can be a growing process for us, if we look at them as a way to gain wisdom and grow in our faith. When God created us he created us for a specific purpose. As we navigate through life our challenges will help to shape our lives for the better. When we discover our passion in life, we are on the right path to our destiny. The way others look at us will be a reflection of what's inside of us. As we go through life's challenges, we need to realize that we can take our burdens to the Lord. There is no situation that we face that is impossible for God. Our love for God should not be based on what he can do for us or what he can give us. But we are to honor him for who he is. Powerful, Awesome, Loving, Holy and Mighty. Everything that we have belongs to God, when we put things in their right place in our lives and honor God, he'll bless us with all we need. Every challenge, test or situation we face is so much easier when we seek the spirit of God for guidance. Through that we'll have the strength we need to endure whatever comes our way. As we face the challenges of life, we should not complain because our walk with Christ will bring us to some valley and mountain experiences. These experiences will help us to grow spiritually. Last we are to face the challenges of life, knowing we have God on our side. He's there when family or friends leave you. Be encouraged and know that you don't have to go into the battles of life alone.

I have read the book and I have been able to relate to the challenges in my life. I know God does allow circumstances to come that will strengthen us and prepare us for what he has for us. Now is a time for us to let others know how good God is . Should we only expect good in life?, it prevents us from growing in our faith. This book will encourage you and let you see things a little different.

A true example of Faith !!

A lightweight book that's very quick and easy to read. Its an incredible book touched by the will of GOD to keep the FAITH; my mind absorbed each sentence as if it was written especially for me. Thanks John for sharing your trials and personal testimony with us and through GOD's will continue be an encouragement and a Blessing!!

    An inspirational literary work

John's book is a refreshing reminder that blessings can still come through adversity. His sincerity and transparency shone through and I would recommend it to others. I encourage him to write more.

For the future, I would suggest that whenever you have pages with blank lines where the reader can make notes, consider presenting a question that the reader can ponder alone, in conversations with others or while at a reader's club event.

Thanks again John for giving me something hopeful to read in a world that tends to give more attention to the negative!

An open minded refreshing look at life........

This book has the greatest question that everyone has asked at one time..."Why not me..." I always looked at it as a problem but John Austin's book opened my mind to see why not. His personal struggles and sacrifices that he has made to show that everything has an answer and it starts with God. When my son was in and out of hospital and nobody had any answers it was frustrating to say the least but this book opened my eyes to see that my relationship with God was much deeper. The book showed that with all stories there is one common subject and that is God is always there and why not me........this has inspired my husband to share his story and journey with our son.

    Why Not Me?

I have read the bible and it is filled with testimonies, but nothing is more powerful than the testimonies of current events which happen in peoples' lives of today. This book exuberates the testimony of a follower and how Jesus brought him and his family through, and during his deliverance he was able to show the love of God in him, to the people in and around his life. What better way to glorify God than by being an example of God's passionate love for people. This book will encourage you to stay with God even in the midst of a difficult situation. This book will let you know, yes we may go through, but we go through to victory with Jesus.

Why not Me? This was a great quick read.

This book has inspired me to write a book myself. It gave me that extra push I needed to get my own story out. The author tells a interesting story and account experiences in his own life where he could have thrown in the towel but decided to just trust God. I realize that we all may have to experience some sort of suffering to grow in Christ. Jesus suffered we are blessed that we will never know that type of suffering in our lifetimes. Trials and struggles are to give us a testimony and to help someone else get thru their tribulations. This was a good lite read that inspired my heart.

    David

Our life stories and challenges are to be shared. There are books, poems, testimonies, songs in so many people. But they never get to those who need them.

This book will touch people lives, it's a must read. If it inspires one person it's worth it. I commend the author for stepping out and being inspired by God to write this short but powerful book.

It ministered to me and allowed me to see that challenges are a part of life. And God does want the best for us and growth is part of a process to bring us to where God wants us to be.

I believe this book should be read and shared with friends and family. People need to be uplifted and encouraged as they face the challenges in life.
