Finally - someone who writes the truth!

John MacArthur has the courage to write what so many in the clergy are afraid to say - there is only ONE WAY to heaven. This is a must read for anyone who claims to be a Christian. Thank you, John, for this powerful little book. I will be giving away copies to family and friends.

Intelligent & to the point ...recommended!

Many times we hear the argument that 'all religions are the same...so it doesn't matter which you follow'. This book goes straight to the heart of the matter...JESUS is the only way. This is an intelligently written, very short book that gets right to the point. I purchased several to send to a few of my relatives that don't understand the One Way idea. I really like the way MacArthur explains societies role in our misperceptions. I believe this will appeal to the thinkers.

    Shockingly Bad

This is a sad attempt a proving the truth of Christianity through bad apologetics. His 'proof' for why Christian exclusivity is correct is based on Bible verses saying that the Bible is true. Only in Evangelical apologetics is it acceptable to 'prove' the accuracy of the Bible through Bible verses which state that the Bible is accurate. In any other field this kind of 'proof' would be laughed at. It's interesting that the author claims 'rationality' as one of his key principles when his whole book is so irrational. If this was truly what Christianity was about, I'd have left the Christian faith long ago.

    Misunderstands reality

This book misrepresents the inclusive view as 'every man's opinion is as good as the next.' That is not only a gross misrepresentation, but reveals a total misunderstanding of progressive, inclusive Christian thought. It also exposes the author's ignorance of real Christian principles. The exclusive claim made in this book is actually advocacy for religious bigotry! It fuels the zealotry of the Religious Right, encourages more of their hypocrisy and imposition, and only adds to the trouble and conflict in the world.
