    A reviewer

The book caught my attention by its cover 'beautiful!' as I was looking for a gift for my daughter's 13th birthday. I quickly skimmed a few pages of the story. The impression was good enough to make a buying decision. I could not refuse the cover anyway. I could only say that I liked the book, but my daughter Daniel LOVED IT. She 'devoured' it in one day and at the evening she announced that she wants to have a cat. Of course, his name will be RASCAL. Intrigued by my daughter's enthusiasm I took the book for my late-night reading. Since it was already late I only managed to read half of the book - the first part called 'The Quest for Freedom'. I totally support my daughter now - we WILL have a cat. The book is very entertaining. It shows the world with cats' eyes. The story is full of love, loyalty, friendship and other positive values. It flows nicely, keeping the reader interested in following it to the end. According to my daughter, the second part ''The Enchanted Forest'' is even more interesting. Therefore our unanimous decision is to give a rating of Five Stars. Daniel is already anxious to get the second book of the series titled 'From Cat's Heaven to Cat's Hell'. There is a 'sneak preview' of it at the end of the book. I've just read these few pages and they did make me want to read more... I also highly recommend the other volumes in the series 'Book 2 and Book 3'

    Great Reading

This is a very engrossing reading. I read it to my small daughter of 5 and I was as much interested in it as she was. And it is also full of positive values. I recommend it wholeheartedly

    Something else!

I got this book for last Christmas from my cat-crazy sister. I am over 50 and I was surprised to get this "children's book" (??!!!) My sister just asked me to trust her and read it. I did read, and surprisingly, I did not have to force the reading. It was interesting from the very beginning. However, more interesting than the reading (some would even say - unbelievable) was the impact that this book had on my persona. -- My life changed from neglect and drunkenness to total soberness (at least for the time being). I must confess that I had a drinking problem for many years, although I would admit it neither to myself nor to anyone around me. As a result of this problem I've lost my job, and my driver's license. <BR/>Somehow, while reading this "children's book" I realized that my life is like of that man in the story, named Stranger, the smelly drunkard who caught Rascal and his friends, who loved alcohol more than his wife and his children... Maybe it was the Christmas spirit (first time sober); maybe I just needed one more drop of something cheerful and positive in my life... maybe it was the spark of positive thought and unconditional love hidden between the sentences of this book... Who knows? Does it really matter?
