Overview

The world is facing many challenges and one of them is financial. The entitlement mentality is epidemic, creating people who expect their countries, employers, or families to take care of them. Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, both successful businessmen, are natural teachers and have joined forces to address these challenges. They believe you cannot solve money problems with money. You can only solve money problems with financial education. Trump and Kiyosaki want to teach you to be rich.

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

They each could have written a book on the subject, but they chose instead to write a book together because of their shared passion for education and their desire to bring emphasis to the importance of financial education. In addition they have designated a portion of the profits from each book to be donated to charitable and educational organizations that also support financial education.

Why We Want YOU To Be Rich, Two Men — One Message was written for you.

Thought after reading the original Rich Dad Poor Dad this may be a great read esp. with Trump. The two men only write praising each other for their accomplishments, or pitch the Rich Dad series, or Trump Tower this or that, Apprentice. There is actually a pyramid chart saying reading is the worst possible way to learn, only retaining 10%.duh, then why write a book? MONEY. They go on an on about how they love to teach and it's not about money...oh yeah. Another chapter, 'I am a mid-aged man and want something new' Richard says go to the golf course and volunteer. Thanks that will make a man's bills go away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK

This book is an amazing source of wealth building knowledge. I have read hundreds of self help books including all of the books by Kiyosaki. There is no one book that can teach you every thing you need, too bad. But to those who have an eager passion to build wealth this book can help. The thing that cracks me up is that people think they can just read a book like this and wake up the next day wealthy. It takes months and years of APPLYING the little tidbits of knowledge and experience and attitude found in these types of books. And I know because I did it and continue to better myself still, by reading these types of books!

I recommend getting this book from your local library, it does not tell you how to get rich. It just tells you that you need a fearless type of mind set to become rich along with some smarts that you can only get from actual real life experience rather then reading a book. The book says most people only retain 10% knowledge from reading and most of your education in becoming rich should come from doing it, but the book does not tell you how to do it.

I haven't finished reading the book yet. So far, I am impressed. I have other books from both authors. In today's economy, this book is perfect in helping you obtain your goals to financial freedom.

I picked this book up because I respect Mr. Kiyosaki and Mr. Trump. BUT I HAD NO IDEA OF HOW GREAT THIS BOOK WAS! It was a page turner. It's NOT a book on investing or what to do...but an educational book. You'll find out why America is in the pickle it is. These two gentlemen really, really want us to be successful. This book has inspired me and it will inspire you. http://www.bettercreditwithski.com/

These two guys lay out financial advice from which anyone, novice or savvy investor, can learn and it helps reinforce basic supply and demand principles. It warns heavily about the volatility of the stock market, money market, gold, etc., and that the only way to really make money is through oil and gas exploration and additionally real estate in North America. Even if we lessen our dependence on foreign oil, there will still be a need world wide for many years to come. It is emphatic about taking charge of your own financial picture and ending the reliance on your company 401 plan, social security, pensions, and the stock market to ensure financial security. All of those plans are in jeopardy and can't be counted on for retirement or to last indefinitely. This is a wonderful read to make you think twice about conventional "safe" investing and says a lot about these two icons who want to share their insight to ensure that our country stays strong, inovative, and independent from foreign control. I highly recommend this book.

Why we want you to be rich¿.is a blue print that gives people the inside scoop of what they need to do to be a step ahead of the game and the changes in the market place. If you don¿t want to be left behind and feeling sorry for yourself read this book to understand why Donald and Robert want you to be rich. Stop talking¿¿ Think big and take action!

The authors spend half of the book flattering each other. There is no doubt that both of these are very accomplished men, but Kiyosaki's message is a basic review of his previous books. Albeit I was personally inspired by the book, it is not quite what one would expect from two great business minds. It is mostly a telling of personal anecdotes, and little personal tips. If you are looking for a book jam-packed with business info, this is not for you.

Dear Readers, While i have still to get hold of the title -why we want you to be rich....i had the priviledge of reading 'HOW TO GET RICH'. Believe me, i have read many inspirational best sellers in my life but the most which brought me financial success are :- 1' HOW TO GET RICH -DONALD TRUMP& 2'THINK & GROW RICH -NAPOLEON HILL. After reading Donald's book-i ended up buying 2 apartments ,albeit through a loan..however the capital appreciation far superseded the loan factor many times over. Dear Donald trump & napoleon hill-thank you both. best regards/prasad lbv

First off I want to say that this is the first work by Donald Trump that I've read and I was very pleasantly surprised. I have a whole new respect for him now. I was very happy with the way the book was laid out and the 'Roberts view', 'Donalds view' format. I wasn't looking for step-by-step instructions. I was seeking millionare advice on becoming wealthy and that is exactly what I received.

The authors have one thing in common - self-aggrandizement! The book is a published commercial for their other books, games, accesories. The writing style is demeaning to the reader's intelligence. I cannot believe the book made it to the number one slot on Business Week's best seller list. The only thing this book is good for is fire kindling.

I like this book as a starter book. It is sure to motivate anyone with a desire to get rich, and will get you on the right track. In order for this book to work, you read 'The Takeover: Everything You Need to Know About Business' by LaFoy Thomas to go with it. These two books together will teach you everything You Need to know.

This book is not a step by step book on how to get rich. If anyone tries to sell you a step to step book then they are getting over on you. There is no step to step book to getting rich. This book gives you views on life and business from two people that are rich. its a good book I recommened it but don't look for answer to get rich.

'With this new book, the age-old saying of: 'Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime,' is explored as Trump and Kiyosaki teach you what they believe you need to know to be rich.'' The entire book is ... in my other book blah blah blah ... I say to do this. Then once RK is done, DJT writes ... yeah just like what he said. This book is entirely over hyped and I feel, terribly written. I found it a struggle to finish.

What a joke!! I'm 3/4 of the way through this heap of garbage and the only things I've learned is that these two lovebirds make each other feel great. I honestly dont know what this book is about. The first 100+ pages of the 300+ pg book are about exactly how they went about discussing what to write about in the book. Is it me or is this completely insane? Incorporated into the numerous pats on the back and self-marketing ploys for their other products is a few tidbits on how the middle class is shrinking and America is going down the tubes. This message is repeated page after page, mainly by changing paragraphs around, just as we all did back in high school when we waited too long to begin a term paper and needed to meet the page requirement. Unless there is a legitmate map to Blackbeards gold at the end of this book, I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Damn it Donald! Right when I thought you were hilarious and great for your tirade against Rosie, you go and screw it up with this ridiculous non-sense. And Robert Kiyosaki is even worse. He bows down and kisses The Donald's feet for an entire chapter. Robert, hike up your skirt and show some friggin pride.
