The spread of religious and Wiccan ignorance!

Sorry folks, but this guy doesn't have the foggiest clue what the truth is. I've been Wiccan for over years and WE DON'T WORSHIP SATAN OR EVEN BELIEVE IN A SATAN! Please get it right and get a clue! Besides this idiot claims to to have been a UFO abductee and a vampire! You know he is mental, come on now. Please people, don't give this book another thought. It's evil and disgusting that someone would try to bash other religions and get away with it. I cannot believe how easily it is to write a book of lies and have it published. No true Wiccan is satanic. Satan has nothing to do with Wicca because we do not believe in the Devil. We believe that there is good and evil in the world, but the evil is done by people. Wiccans try to make the world a better place. We work for our communities, we help others, we volunteer for charities and we honor our particular beliefs. The author has a fear of retribution from God. He appears to believe that if he demonstrated religious tolerance by recognizing Neopagan traditions as actual religions, that he would somehow become a Neopagan and would be attacked by God. This book is full of propaganda against a group of people who are gentle and loving, selfless and strong enough to stand against the closed minds of those who dislike us. Satan is a Christian concoction, not a Wiccan one in any way. Once again, another hatemongering book is published from an ignorant person just willing to make money off of people who are as ignorant as they are.

    Won't bother

Any book that even hints at wicca as being akin to worship of "satan" is ignorant and a waste of time. Wiccans do not even believe in such a thing.

What a travesty that trees were taken to perpetuate such nonsense.

    MINUS 5 STARS

If I could rate as a - 5 Star I would! This...person has no idea what the Wiccan faith is about, sad that ignorance is perpetual blissfulnes. Just another person who is trying to boost up the Cathlic Church....I would think that a Church that Molest boys, then cover it up is more satanic than any religion I know! Do not waste your money, Google Wicca and see what its about!

    From a real Wiccan

I'm a real Wiccan, and this is a lie. Wicca is not Satanic. Sure, you can use it to do harm, but it is strongly advised against by many older Wiccans. Do not buy this book, as it is a lie. Read a true Wiccan like Silver Ravenwolf, or Edain McCoy to understand thr truth of the Craft.

Such a lie! Wiccas don't even believe in anything called "Satan" or "Lucifer". This book is anti Wicca propaganda and as such should fall into the category of "hate slander" or "modern day bigoted Witch burning".

    Devil, what Devil?

I'm a praticing Witch. I belive it important to mention that I've also been Christian for 10 years. I do not believe in the Devil, nor do any true Witches or Wiccans. In fact, most Pagans don't believe in the ideology of an evil deity. Deity is a higher power and evil is a lower life form of the human condition. Evil is a mere idea of us humans. There is no one being that is in charge of the world's malice. We are each in charge of our own actions and decisions. If a place of torment did exist in the after life or before life, then this guy REALLY should spend some time there and prove us wrong.

    Extremely Offensive

I have been a Wiccan follower for all of my life. I was raised by a Wiccan mother, and I will teach my daughters these ways, if they choose. We are good people and in no way connected to what a Christian would refer to as the "devil." This makes ne sick. I would like to sincerely thank the author for bringing us back to the middle ages again.

good to teach new students of others ignorance.

    Hello,

This book is poorly written and based on lies and twisted truths. I am a High Priestess of a Wiccan coven in MA. I require all new students to read this book as part of our coven tradition. I want them to be informed of the ignorance that exists. This also opens doorways for them to ask questions. The required reading list is daunting, however by the end of the first list, they have many tools to combat such ignorance. So my advise to others reading this book, remember this is one person's view that should not be taken as truth.

    Outrage

I read the first 30 pages of this book and I have got to say, this is the worst piece of literature written by a person in an attempt to deface another faith. I have been Wiccan for almost 10 years and what this man claims to be Wicca, a form of Satan worship, is false. Sounds more like to me the rantings of a madman. Before I was Wiccan, I was a Baptist. And everyday the pastor spoke of equality and love, yet told us God punished the people at Bethlaham by turning them Black. Every night he would abuse his daughter. I spoke to him about that, and as a result I was excommunicated from the churches in my home community. Do I look at Christianity as bad for that? No. I look at the pastor who would rather brand me a blasphemer than accept his errors as the bad one. My point is, what this man is going on about, is a perfect example of someone who clearly was misinformed and deviated, just like how the Westboro Baptist Church deviated from the core faith. Wicca is by no means a form of Satanism, or some lie by Satan. If people want to start acting like idiots about this, then take a time machine back to the dark ages because that type of ignorant, close-minded, bigoted slander is what caused every genocide for the past millenias. Christopher Columbus, 1.8 million Indians, the Witch Hunts, 400,000 documented executions. And lets not forget Hitler. All of them who believed any form of religion was inferior and those who were anything else deserved death. If you truly believe that this man is right about a religion you have no clear idea about, all because he used to be Wiccan, which he clearly didn't follow and eventually deviated due to stupidity, then you are just as bad as Hitler or any other discriminative genocidal fool. Blessed Be everyone.

    What?

Ok, what? Seriously? Wicca is about peace with nature and harmony in life, not about the devil! Sure, there are some crazy people who do wierd stuff who are wiccan, but the same is true for all religions! Get a grip, world!

All of these reviews and only 2 that rates this piece of trash higher than one star. That ought to tell everyone all they need to know. As with every one else i gave one star just to rate the thing, i wont even call it a book. I dont believe this person was ever part of a real Wiccan group. This is just a bunch of CRAP written to sell a book to closed minded scared people.

    Really?

Wicca does not even really have a hierarchy like most religion do so how coul the author climb up the levels of wicca? Not a wiccan but i have studied the religion while searching for a new religion to join and wicca has absolutely nothing to do with any devil.

    Pathetic

Obviously the man that wrote this book is very close minded and just wrote it to support inaccurate accusations. Its pathetic when people actually go as far as putting down other religions for their own 15 minutes of fame.

He man who wrote this book i full of himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (MINUS -2000000000!!!!!!!!!)

Wiccans are people who try and make the world a better place not make it full evil and stuff. Although i am not a wiccn myself, i do know a couple people who practice wicca and i am pretty good friends. They actually kinda inspired me to look into books and spells and practice wicca. So in conclusion, the man who wrote this book is stuck-up and only thinks of him/her self and that makes me sick. And so i think that this person is full of bull-crap and is an insecure person
