    REVIEW

5 out of 5 for this reader folks!

Man, when did Eric get so sexy???  LOL

For those of you have not ventured into this series, put down whatever you are reading and check it out.  Especially if you love HOT ROCKERS who can rock it out in ALL PLACES that doesn't just include the stage!  WINK!

Wicked Beat by Olivia Cunning is the fourth book in her Sinners Series (although the pub dates are messed up as Olivia had some conflict with her publishers).  Eric Sticks is the funky hair, goofball, voyeur, tall and all around fun guy of the group.  Throughout the series he was my least fave character but after reading this book ... *fans myself with a hearty sigh* he has moved up that list!

Rebekah is a rebel in her own making.  She has some mental and physical damage from an illness and tries to live her life to the fullest although she has some justified fears.  She is also the sister of the sound board guy Dave and has offered to assume the position (in more ways than one .. teehee) for the band while her brother recovers from a serious injury (read the previous books for more details on that)!  She is fresh out of school and knows that an opportunity like this only comes once in a lifetime so she feels she has much to prove.  She also has been crushing on Trey Mills (another hunky member of the band) forever and sees this as a chance to live out another opportunity.  What she doesn't count on is falling for Eric.

Right from the beginning, these two have incredible chemistry.  They have the same off beat humour and feed off each other.  Eric is instantly in love with Rebekah (Eric is the naive, wholehearted, puppy love, awkward guy in the group that is seriously underestimated) and his band mates, especially Trey, try to tell him to slow down.  All Eric knows is he has to follow his heart!

Rebekah, throughout the book begins to realize her dream guy isn't Trey, but in fact the quirky guy that is just as into fixing classic cars, dying hair all kinds of crazy and kinky sex .....  Eric.  We also know that every good book has to have an antagonist of sorts.  Well this lies with Rebekah's former ill intending fiancee and her bible thumping controlling mother.

Okay .. so this book is not for the faint hearted!  While there is a great story here, there is also some VERY KINKY SEX.  These two love to role play and they have sex often, in many ways, and have included a third party at times.  The scenes are written HOT, descriptive and ABSOLUTELY LOVING!

For a guy that wasn't even on my radar at the beginning of this series, he sure came to the forefront.  Olivia Cunning sure did him justice and I am looking forward to reading more!

    HAPPY READING! :)

~Reviewed by FRANCESCA & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog

I was very anxious to get this book. A lot of that was because I wanted to finally have all the books in this series because I’ve always considered reading them in order now that they are all out so I can get the right flow of the story. Of course, time wouldn’t allow me to do that now when I got WICKED BEAT in my hands, but nevertheless, I was so excited!

I couldn’t wait to find out about Eric but I admit I was never his biggest fan. He was always sort of there in the background for me and I didn’t feel any attraction. But bad boy rockstar…he didn’t disappoint. The other sinners have nothing on Eric!

What I thought would be a timid guy who would tiptoe around the girl he likes is a straight up seducer! Eric Sticks is hot, HOT HOT! I’m just going to say he surprised me in more than one good way without losing his touch from previous books. Yes, that means sometimes he still likes to watch. But we also get to know why.

And other than wanting to keep Eric locked in my basement for my personal enjoyment, I really liked Rebekah most of the time. Yes, as with other Sinners heroines, I had my moments of annoyance where I wanted to break her skull open but I liked the fact that she is with Sinners because she’s trying to get her career going. Didn’t like so much how that might’ve been without a regard for her own brother a bit. It seems all the women in this series have no inhibitions and from the get go Rebekah wants Trey. Don’t all women want Trey anyway? And men?

The dynamics between Eric and Rebekah were interesting and seeing their relationship develop while she still had her crush on Trey and even included him, well lets just say this was not where I had seen this book going and I was pleasantly surprised. By the end, I was a true believer in them as a couple though. Ex boyfriend mishaps and all.

And speaking of the ex….Thanksgiving dinner! All I’m going to say. Trish thanks for reminding me about that scene because it was so hot!

If you haven’t started this series, I’d recommend you do now. They are all out! Read them in the order they were meant, not the order they were published. And they do get better with each book! Rockstars for my keeper shelf for sure. I’m sad to see their story end but can’t wait for Ms. Cunning to continue with Exodus End.

I loved this book from its insanely spicy cover to its gushingly

I loved this book from its insanely spicy cover to its gushingly romantic and swoon-worthy happily ever after. This is so much more than an wildly hot rock-and-roll sex-a-thon. Wicked Beat is, at its heart, a truly great love story.

Eric and Rebekah are a perfect match. Two incredibly sexy and endearingly quirky characters who find in the other their sensual soul mate, champion and best friend. The love they share is honest, strong and unconditional.

And the sex? Off the charts hot! Role-playing hilarity, insatiable hungers and endless opportunities to get down and dirty abound. Satisfying erotic perfection.

Wicked Beat had me smiling, misty-eyed, breathless and, ultimately, inspired. Hands down, my favorite of The Sinners on Tour Series.

    Heat rating: 5+ stars
    Story rating: 4 stars

Yep, so let's break this down. Wicked Beat will absolutely blow your mind and a hole through your panties. Okay, maybe not that last bit but hot day-um!!! It gets wicked, wild and wonderful in so many ways. Anyway, romance and sexy times in this book are a must read absolutely crazy good.

What I didn't expect was to fall in love with the characters so much. I'm not an erotica reader usually so I didn't expect more than lots of sex. I'm so glad I was wrong. Eric is such an awesome guy. I loved he was different to the usual bad boy. And whoah, wasn't he a hot fine man. Loved his weird quirks.

Rebekah is a great female character. She isn't annoying, though I wanted to rip her mum's head off, she dealt with stuff that was thrown her way, even the devastating past that left her unable to bear children and scarred sexually and mentally.

Thank God Eric solved her problems and I highly recommend you read how he did that, too. The ending did drag a bit after it felt resolved to me and there were other very minor things that didn't work for me but otherwise really loved this. :))) Read it!

    Wicked Hot

I love this series! Eric Sticks is such an amazing character. The way he loves is amazing. He is not my favorite Sinner but he is amazing. Trey in this story is amazing as always. His way of caring for others is a way to get some. I love his attitude and I wished that I wouldn't have read his story until after this one came out tho because I would have loved him even more. Rebekah and Eric have an amazing chemistry and are destined to be together. A beautiful rock and roll romance!

In this next installment of the Sinners on tour book we get to see Eric Sticks find the woman of his dreams.  Rebekah Blake becomes
the Sinners’ new sound board operator and finds that Eric is the only one who can make her wicked dreams come true.  Olivia Cunning
delivers another wicked smash hit with this book.  Olivia is one of my favorite authors that I always read.  She is a brilliant author who
makes your wicked imagination come to life.  Makes me want to go out and find myself a wicked rock star of my own.
I give this book 5 stars.

After reading Backstage Pass and Rock Hard, I was curious to learn more about the twisted voyeuristic drummer. Olivia Cunning did not disappoint. In Wicked Beat [book:Wicked Beat|12710096], Eric certainly had problems that kept him from sexual confidence, but then he meets Rebekah.
Rebekah is damaged goods, too. She's been through hell and has come out with her puppy-like enthusiasm and love of life intact. She's smart but with a bit of a ditsy quality that makes her downright fun. Poor Eric doesn't see her coming, and when she sets her sights on him, his heart doesn't stand a chance.
These two are so good for one another. The sex is certainly hot, but it's not gratuitous. There's healing ad acceptance for them both through this sexual exploration they undertake.
I'm not a reader to read books multiple times. I never have. But Wicked Beat is going onto my keeper shelf, and I have plans to read this one again.

Super Steamy Conclusion to the Sinners Series

Olivia Cunning's Sinners On Tour series comes to an end (for the most part) with a story featuring my favorite member of the band, the playfully charming and outspoken Eric. From the moment he sees the band's new soundboard manager with her blue striped hair that matches his he knows he's in love and sets forth to win her over in his own goofy way. As the sister to the band's former soundboard manager Rebekah feels she has something to prove but it's a rocky road to success when issues of jealousy and an attraction to both Trey and the surprising Eric get in the way. It's a long drawn out melodrama between two hurt souls who feel less than worthy who bond and find their way to a HEA.

From the very first book in this series I found myself drawn to the lovable goofball Eric, the drummer with a talent for creating music that he doesn't get near enough credit for. He's known for his comedic nature and tendency to watch while his band mates get busy between the sheets. He's not quite as sexy as the other Sinners but I found him charming nonetheless. Eric was a foster kid who never felt a part of any family. It wasn't until he discovered music that he felt a part of something and would do anything for the band mates who have become his family. He's exceptionally kind-hearted which has gotten him used repeatedly, especially by ex-band mate Jon, whose drug abuse has been a part of the series since the very beginning. Meeting Rebekah is like meeting his soul mate which brings forth feelings of jealousy where he now doesn't want to share her with anyone. She's the only woman who really gets him and his warped sense of humor and he unleashes a sexual onslaught to win her over. He also lavishes her with gifts as is his tendency when his heart becomes involved. He's all-consuming in his attentions which made me adore him all the more and why I wish Rebekah had been just a bit more worthy of him, especially early on.

Rebekah is a woman trying to succeed in a man's world and trying to live up to her brother's talent. After flitting through many different careers this one seems to be a perfect fit as she's a big fan of the Sinners and of Trey especially. She's extremely obsessed with him and would love to take him up on the sensuality he exudes, leaving Eric out in the cold. It's only through Trey's pushing her towards Eric that she finally discovers how wonderful he is. His caring and comforting nature is just what she needs as she's still recovering from cancer and coping with her inability to have children because of it. After her ex-fiancee left her feeling unsexy and disgusting after her cancer treatments, it's Eric who takes away all those negative feelings through numerous sexual encounters that almost overpower the story. Just when she and Eric appear to be going towards their HEA her ex comes back and her wishy-washy heart puts their HEA in jeopardy. Also causing a rift in their relationship is her mother whose craziness slowly shines through in nasty words and deeds directed at Eric. Her mother's issues are obvious but ignored by everyone until she acts up in public which results in a hasty cure for her and a quick acceptance of what Rebekah really wants. This part of the story had a soap opera feel to it with silly misunderstandings, a man trying to hide the truth about himself, and an overbearing mother spewing fire and brimstone. Early on in their relationship I was truly angered by Rebekah's apparent using of

Think you had a favorite Sinner’s story? Me too, I didn’t think anything would surpass Brian & Myrna’s love story but I was WRONG!!!!

This is Eric Sticks’ story. You find out why he would rather watch than participate and why he has an intense loyalty to Jon. You will see his naughty side and his soft side. This book is HOT – you won’t be disappointed with the heat created by Eric & Rebekah.
