I read it while on a hectic destination vacation with family. I enjoyed it well enough to read for a few minutes every night but not so well that it called out to be read during other dpwn times. Not the best representative of the genre (I think of Balogh, L. James, and Kleypas as markers for that). I was willing to suspend my disbelief regarding Malory's transition from grief to enduring love. I would have liked more development of that to truly accept it. Maybe the groundwork had veen laid in the companionn books?

From the first moment I started reading this book I couldn't put it down! I stayed in bed all day finishing this remarkable story. I fell in love with the hero, Adam. This IMO is the best book in the series. I have no regrets buying this. Warren did it again!
