    Didn't have high expectations

This was one of the first books I read on my nook since it was free. I went into it w/ low expectations, but it was quite good. I'll probably down load the rest of the series. The only thing that bothered me is that a character would say something, then another character would think something and then they would go back to the conversation. Sometimes it was hard to follow what they were saying, but other than that, a very good book.

Never judge a book by it's cover.

I read lots of romance, erotica, fantasy & science fiction. This book has a bit of all the above, however lots of "teen" angst feeling throughout the story. Main characters do shape up once you get into the story. Never read much about fairies, but you can learn from just about anything. Give it a try, it surprised me towards the end.

    Amazingly written

Aishlinn is almost 18 and ready to go off on her own. But when Keenan arrives, she feels closed in and scared but yet drawn to him. When her grandmother starts acting weird Aishlinn finds out that she is keeping a secret that will change her life. Will she go to Keenan even when she knows the truth or will she run away? I recommend this book to mostly girls because it's romantic and I give it a 4 out of 5 star rating, only because it is confusing in the begging.

    Loved it!

First time I even heard of Mellisa Marr and it was the featured author. For $0.99 it got me hooked and not just this book, on all the books in this series. I just wished this was a lend me book. It's suspenseful, artisic, and who doesn't love fairies and feys? They're easy to read and you won't be able to put down your nook (or the book.)
Why aren't all nook books lendable?

    I love this series.

I am so looking forward to reading more in this series. This book was mystical and fantastic. I love how Aislinn has the power to see faeries and no one else can. That alone makes her original and to top it off she is being stalked by one hot fairy. The Summer King, Keenan is looking for his queen. He has been cursed by his mother, the Winter Queen and has to make his choice go through a test to see if she truly is the one for him. Many have failed the test and become what they call a Winter Girl. Keenan is sure that Aislinn is the one true love that will pass this test and set him free, but is Aislinn willing to take this test and fall for the King? Recommended for YA Paranormal lovers.

    Great Read!

Loved this book! With all the hype with vampire novels, this is a nice change with different non-mortal/mortal characters. Definately a book that keeps you guessing what faeries can do!

    Wicked fun

Was trying to find a series up to the standard of Moning's Fever series and this seems to be a worthwhile. Really enjoyed the first book, only wish it was an adult series, it forces the author to leave so much of the personal connection of the characters out. Its no fever series but its a great second choice esp if your younger or just prefer a tamer read

    More enticing than I expected

I could not put the book down, I literally finished it within a week. It was a great read for me, and I am excited to continue on with the series. I felt a great connection with all the characters.

    I Also Recommend:

    I enjoyed this book

This is an original story that I enjoyed so much I downloaded the whole series. I would recommend this book to teens-young adults. A lot of imagination was put into writing this book, if you like fantasy I think you'll enjoy really enjoy it.

If you loved the TWILIGHT books, check THIS series out!

If you loved the TWILIGHT books, check THIS series out! I got the first one at the library and was so eager to go on in the series, I started buying the ebooks to get further in the storyline. The bonus materials and the two shorter pieces (Old Habits/Stopping Time which come between some of the books) are also must reads. I liked that we gain insight into the bredth and depth of this world the more we read on, and it rewards you as you go along.

For those not inclined to teen fic, GRAVEMINDER is Marr's new, first adult fiction, which I also recommend highly.

    Hmmmmm

Turned out being pretty good. Interesting concepts...different. It was a little creepy at times. Young adults could relate to the main characters more so. Didn't change my life.

    I Also Recommend:

very good book, hard to put down!

I have read all 5 books in this series, and i just have to say they are very very good. The second book gets more into a side character but i still really liked it, and it tells you more about the dark court. All in all i highly recommend these books to any age group!
