Meet the Author

Amberrose Hammond earned her degree in language and literature at Grand Valley State University in 2005. She is cofounder with Tom Maat of the popular website Michigan's Otherside, which showcases Michigan's strange and mysterious stories from all over the state. Her work with the website led her to develop a deep interest in fun and unusual Michigan history. Her first book published with The History Press was Ghosts & Legends of Michigan's West Coast.

    Really, really loved this book! I had read the author's other bo

    Really, really loved this book! I had read the author's other book on ghost stories so I picked this one up because I live there. Lot's of fun to learn about these old stories I had no clue had happened in the counties past. Fun read!
