I liked the concept of the story, and it was an interesting world, but the story was rather short, only around 70 pages of actual story.

Although this book is only like 92 pages, it is definitely worth the few bucks to download for your Nook!

I paid $ 3.03 for it on my NOOK.. It was like 92 pages.. so short story to say the least but I thought it was SO worth it.. Witches, criminal hunting, mind blowing sex and a ending that left me wanting more..

4stars – An enjoyable, personable, predictable and quick read.
Although this is part of a series, it read well as a stand-alone. This origin story had a strong foundation and could have easily been a full length book and will more than suffice as the entrance to this sexy paranormal world. There was a lot to enjoy in this novella which included suspense, murder, menage and very personable characters.

About 172pgs, the rest were excerpts for another book, a rushed half... "donkeyed" ending, and lack of depth kept me from giving this a higher rating. It was very sexy and the build up was flowing quite well, but towards middle end you realize how unsatisfying its going to be. It was cheap though so I don't regret the purchase

Hot and steamy? Yes. But it certainly could have been so much better and really would have improved with character and story development. Serious potential. In the end still entertaining

I debated for a while about buying this book and, in the end, it wasn't worth it. It was alright, potential for more, but it lacked conflict, character depth (near the end of the book, someone saves the day and I didn't know who the character was.) Hence the title of my review.
