What a delightful read this story was & I'm glad that I got the pleasure of reading it. This was the first work by Christine Bell that I've read & from my impression of this book it won't be my last. The blurb gives a thorough summary of the story so I won't repeat it. What I will say about Wife for Hire is that it was a great read overall. Within minutes of reading, I knew that Christine Bell is a talented author. She captivated me with her writing early on & her characters were engaging. Lindy & Owen were realistically written, in-depth and likeable. I immediately loved Lindy from the beginning. She was witty; sweet; wore her heart on her sleeve and possessed a heart of gold. Owen was also a great character; sexy, sweet, rich, has a sexy accent, but damaged too. Having a damaged past, he doesn't let anyone in. But Lindy is different from other women and for him, she's a breath of fresh air. However, he's not the 'forever' type of man which often set a painful reminder for Lindy throughout their charade as husband and wife. However, one thing was for certain; their chemistry was undeniable and the sexual tension just sizzles between these two. Furthermore, the story flowed smoothly which made Wife for Hire an easy read. I enjoyed the dialogue in this story as well as the plot & storyline which were both well-developed. Wife for Hire had me eagerly turning the pages & before I knew it, I had finished Wife for Hire in a day. Christine also wrapped this story up beautifully with a pretty bow on top & left me satisfied with a smile. Overall, Wife for Hire was a funny, sexy, charming and highly enjoyable read. This is a classic boy asks girl to help him by posing as wife. However its a great book. You love the characters and the story is so full that its not missing a single thing. 372 pages of a book that I will read over and over. I hope I get to see more of these characters to come!

I just had the best afternoon with this one!!!! Here is story with heart! Add an adorable heroine, a hunky hero and a story with a fast moving plot and you've got reader "gold". It was a quick, steamy and enjoyable read that left me wanting more! I loved the couples "games"! Very funny.

Great, great story. Very impressed with the writing and characters. I
thought the "games" were fantastic and the romance was
outstanding!!!! I will be looking for more from this author and waiting
for the next one!

Funny dialogue, great characters, this was a blast to read! Owen is sexy, Lindy is adorable, and I hope this winds up being a series, because the side characters were all worthy of their own books.

This was a really good book! The characters were easy to fall in love with and it had a really great plot. The romance part of it wasn't over the top (cough Fifty Shades of Grey cough) but it was just enough to keep you exhilaratingly interested.

I really loved this story! Owen and Lindy were great! I loved watching them get to know each other! I have read this book twice and will definitely read it again!!

Couldn't put it down & I'm hoping for a sequel... just to check in w/ Owen & Lindy to see how happy they still are. Was a bit miffed that the author didn't include a happy ending for Bitsy... the poor lady deserved that much at least after finding out what a sleaze her husband is.

Loved this book for it's story and chemistry. I felt this two were real people looking for more than just companionship. Very good read and enjoyable characters.

Love this book! I've been a huge fan of Christine Bell's for quite a while now and always rush out to buy her newest release. WIFE FOR HIRE was no exception. It's deliciously fun and sexy with just enough suspense to keep me flipping the pages. And Owen... *sigh* Can't wait for the next book in the series!
