This book is set back in the begining days of the mormon church. It has a lot of history and interesting information in it. It is the story of one of Brigham Youngs wives. She added a lot of history to her story to help you understand how polygamy began and how some of the founder came about this and the poor conditions with which women were treated and left to survive in. It also talks about the greed and corruption that went on in the early church. This book was a surprisingly great read that I could not put down! I am glad she escaped her situation!
