Marra's body burned with desire. It was Wild time, the first week of spring, when Lynx from all over North America gathered in the Sierra Nevada foothills to mate. The time when every Lynx female went into heat.
But Wild is bittersweet for Marra. She's past the age when most Lynx find their mate. She only comes to Wild for sex and always leaves as she came: alone.
Yet this year is different. A new male Lynx has come to Wild, a foreigner who will claim her in ways she only imagined...

I'm really irritated that neither the cover, the description, or any warning mentioned that this book contained menage and anal sex. Though I'm not into menage, I could have lived with it. But anal sex is NOT a turn on for me, and I wouldn't have bought the book had I known. I specifically stay away from threesome books because of the likelihood of that. Usually, it's easy to tell, because the publisher puts three people on the cover, and includes something in the blurb. And in the erotica epub industry, they usually have some kind of warning letting you know if there's menage, BDSM, etc., because it's not everyone's cup of tea. I just wasted money on a book that I will never finish. The author may not have had control over the cover, but usually they help write the blurb...which mentions ONE stranger. There were no reviews here at the time of my purchase, but even the single review at Amazon mentioned only two people. Maybe the menage was just in the beginning, but it still should have been alluded to. I like erotica, but not every kind, and had I known what it was, I wouldn't have bought it. Also, in the small amount of the book I was able to read, I felt the writing was okay, but disappointing for having come from Harlequin. And the little bit of the sex scene I read was kind of disappointing (before the menage happened) compared to erotic romance/erotica I've read elsewhere. Not horrible, but not an author I'd read again, even in a tamer story. I'm not trying to be mean, but just trying to save someone else their money. I'm sure the author has potential to do better, and maybe the book got better later, but if it's not good in the beginning when you're trying to hook the reader, then it needs work.
