    Wasn't bad

I enjoyed it but soomething was missing for me. Revenge isn't a good thing and rarely turns out good. Won't be reading the next one.

    Long, but kept my attention

At over 700 pages, I didn't think the book would keep my attention. It did and it was a quick read. Parts of the story were kind of predictable, but not the whole of it. The characters were likable and I'd like to read the sequel to the book, "Wild Lady".

I was pleasantly surprised with this book, especially since it was a free one :)

I was bit overwhelmed when I first saw the length of the book, but the flow was good and the storyline was interesting.

    more from this reviewer

    honestly it was a bore

Read the whole thing, thanks to medication induces state of mental disconnect, and was sorely disappointed. With so many 5 star reviews I expected more. The book was SLOW, it needs proper editing, the flashbacks that laced it were ridiculous and were obviously the result of not actually laying the book out ahead of time and adding stuff that says OH THIS WILL MAKE SENSE NOW. That was extremely annoying. Honestly, it was 300 pages too long. Repeating the same internal stuff over and over isn't a way to build a word count. And the inconsequential slowed the story down to a mind-numbingly OH WHO CARES WHAT HAPPENS rate and made the storyline non-existent. The first chapter alone took me almost an hour to get through because it was so bloated with needless dribble that I'm surprise I finished the book...I'm blaming it on the copious amounts narcotic pain medication in my system....which is really saying a lot since I can put down 750 pages books in less than six hours.
If you are looking for somethign to kill that literary void in your night, this will only aid in helping you sleep

Font size changes every few paragraphs

I couldn't read it because the font size constantly changing is too distracting.

    Don't know

I know the book was free but the alignment on my nook has the
left side of the print to be cut off. It doesn't get better even with small font size.

    Good read

Loved how intertwined everyones life is. You really feel her confusion about her life and ultimately what has been done to her. I wanted to reach thru the book and just give the girl a hug for everything she has to deal with. But a great ending none the less

    Good..with Font issues

The story and characters were very good. I didn't expect much for a free book, but this was good. However.... the font changed from small to extra large throughout the whole book and it was VERY distracting. Maybe it downloaded with some glitches, who knows. But if you can get past the font malfunction, then it was worth reading.

    Fix forformatting

For the problem with the first letters missing, change the page formatting. On the nook colour I changed it to the very last page rectangle and all the letters are on the page. You find the page formatting rectangles in the font section, its the line of pages with lines in it below the font sizes. Good luck!
I haven't read the book too far yet, but so far so good!

    Interesting

Interesting plot. It had more than two characters, that's always good, but something eas missing, I am not sure what. I not sure what all the font changes were about (?). The text was also off-centered, my right margin was off the page, making me have to guess sometime at the first word, which was distracting.
