This is the only book of Catherine Coulter's that I have not praised. I own and have read very nearly every one of her novels, I collect her works. I loved Byrony, her character shined. I despised Brent, he made a bad character(a first class rotter), and all through the book I thought, if he were real, I'd turn away and never look back. I read this book quickly, waiting for the moment I would change my mind and declare this the best book yet, but I ended up finishing the book feeling like I have been left hanging and just plain disappointed that he couldn't have been redeemed sooner in the story. I only have six books left before my collection of her novels is complete. This is the only one to my point of reading that has not met my satisfaction. Indeed, if this had been my first Coulter novel, I would have hesitated much in concidering to buy another. If you are a collector of Coulter or have begun this Quadruplet star series, it is worth space in your collection, or it is worth reading if only for the additional information in filling out the fourth star novel, but if you are just someone looking for a good read, with no particular connection with Coulter, then I would definately pass this book by.

Wild Star was one of the first romance novels I read -about 20 years ago. I loved this book. Not a single romance since has compared to the love/hate relationship that Brent and Byrony began with. Their passion has not been matched. The storyline has not been matched. Ms. Coulter has outdone herself with this book. Outstanding!!! The journey that I took with the characters has stayed with me these 2 decades.

I loved "The Wild Star" because it had so much romance mixed in with wonderful characters, mystery, and excitement. I just couldn't put it down!

I found the book 'Wild Star' in a box in my basement, and I fell in love with it only a couple chapters in. I instantly fell in love with the stuborn, but sexy, Brent Hammond. He's just so wild and free. I haven't read the other books of the Star series, but I'm looking forward to it. I recommend it to everybody who loves romance. Catherine Coulter is so talented, and the book is very thrilling and sexy.
