    Wildflowers of New York

This is a great book to take on a hike through any environment. The book is divided by flower color and the color photographs are detailed enough to identify any flower you come across. Flowers are identified by common name and latin name. A short description of each flower is included. This is not a book for delving into all the details of a particular plant. But you'll have fun using it to identify all those flowers you see and wonder what they are.
