Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Heather Welsh
Will appears to be the average fifth-grader. That is, unless you count the fact that he is a monster detective that hunts and defeats the things that go bump in the night. The business cards that magically appear in the homes of those needing Will's services aren't that usual, either. Neither is Will's flashlight that shrinks monsters or his magnifying glass that helps him see them. In fact, nothing about Will is average when you look just beneath the surface. So, it makes sense that his newest friend is Bigelow Hawkins, who just so happens to be a three-foot-tall monster himself. Who better to help Will learn how to fight his own monster? Will needs all the help he can get when he faces a shape-shifting monster that wants to eat him alive. Does Will have what it takes to overcome his fears and defeat his monster? Part of the "Will Allen" series. Reviewer: Heather Welsh

Will Allen And The Great Monster Detective was a fun and entertaining book. As a mother of two children, I found this book to be very enjoyable for both my 7 year old and 12 year old. And I had fun reading it with my kids too! Can't wait for the next one to come out!!

This book was an incredible learning experience for my children! It helped them with how to deal with their fears, in a very enjoyable way! My kids absolutely loved it! I even found myself reminding my kids about how Will dealt with certain things in the book, and how they can deal with their issues. I can't wait for more books from this author.
