This author has a writing style that draws you in. Suspense and mayhem abounds while still telling a very poignant tale. I am definitely a fan of the Canadian content in this novel and how the author brings it out with a vengeance. It was brilliant. He also brings history forward in a very captivating and enlightening manner without butchering said history. It was amazing how many different aspects the author worked into this story while remaining true to their origins while making them completely his own. Grey excitingly, eloquently, and thoroughly gives an accounting of the main characters past and his association with the order, thus giving a backdrop for the whole story. The dialogue in this novel is so natural yet in your face that you can’t help but giggle a time or two and appreciate the pair of main characters. I appreciate how well developed the main characters in this tale were, and how they were developed. You get to know them in an indepth manner that makes you love them and want them to succeed without ever having to stop and read about them. For these characters, actions speak louder than words. My overall thoughts? Holy conspiracy theory Batman! I love it. This story was wildly imaginative yet oh so real. I can’t wait to see Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.
