My son has enjoyed the series up until this book. *Spoiler Alert* There were several things that were the most disturbing to him: a fellow young boy dies, his dog dies, he's going to be a blood sacrafice to a god of mummies, and he's attacked by mummies. We plowed on thru the book, becuase I was really hoping that the two deaths would be reversed (which they were). We are reading more in the series, but this one was a bit over the top.
