Meet the Author

Mike Klis covers the Denver Broncos for The Denver Post. The oldest son of Joseph and Mary (Ann), Klis is a graduate of Oswego (Ill.) High School and Murray (Ky.) State University. He got his start as a sports writer with the Oswego Ledger-Sentinel, where he covered high school sports and the town’s men’s slow-pitch softball league. He later worked in Colorado for the Fountain Valley Advertiser, Woodland Park’s Ute Pass Courier and Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph. He joined The Denver Post to cover the Colorado Rockies baseball team in January, 1998. Klis moved from the Rockies beat to the Broncos beat in July 2005. Klis and his wife, Becky, have four children: Brittney, Kaitlyn, Blake and Johnny.

    You are wrong he is backup for because he is not good enough to play nfl football.I can promas you that Luck of RG3 will getitI call him teboooooooooooow for a reison.tebow will probly not get a superboal ring in his time.but luck oRG3 will.Were you DRUNK whan you wrote the comment?
