    Delightful Read!

    I have to admit that prior to reading this book, I knew next to nothing about the present-day monarchy, but like so many others, am finding myself interested now with Willam and Kate's engagement. That said, I felt that the author did a great job at not only telling the story of the courtship between William and Kate, but also at giving me a glimpse into the life of the modern royal family and how it operates. I liked the author's writing, and felt that for the most part, he handled the multitude of scandals and rumors surrounding this family with tact and taste, while still giving me the juiciness and details I wanted. I was sad for the book to end, as I enjoyed the escapism it provided. Recommended!!

    A good introduction to Kate and William as a couple

    I found this book to be informative without being overly tabloidish. Once I started reading it was hard to put down. Andersen has done a decent job at helping the public understand who Middleton is beyond the tabloid stories. I ended up feeling sorry for her because ultimately she was a young woman trying to figure her life out while dealing with the hot glare of the media spotlight. I also gained a good insight into who Prince William is. The media puts him up as some good, saint like Prince of a beloved late Princess. In reality he has flaws, is sweet, adventerous, but also not the best boyfriend, and as is the case with royals and the rich, very self involved and spoiled. Yet despite this I didn't end up deeply disliking the Prince. Andersen's book manages to show the human side of the subjects, never fawning over either.

    Total Enjoyment!

    I love a 'true love story', and this book filled the bill. I feel like I was apart of their story because of all the detailed information into their private relationship. Everyone has 'ups and downs' in any relationship and this book told of theirs in the most passionate way. If you're a fan of the Royal Family you will truly enjoy this royal romantic love story.

    Great book.

    This book was just what I had hoped... a little history surrounding the time of william's life/childhood, a lot of behind the scenes/family perspective, and not just portraying the press and their skewed view of their relationship. I think the "behind the scenes look" at their relationship from start until now brings more a more human side to both of them- and their relationship. Although they have struggled with many things that most of us wouldn't ever have to-- in the same aspect they have their struggles and they've dealt with them the same way we all do.

    A Royal Disappointment

    I am extremely disappointed in this story. This is a story of a womanizer and a young woman plotting what she needed to do to get engaged to a prince. I wouldn't say that's a love story. The entire book is nothing but partying and vacations. I sure hope there is more depth to these two people than this. Don't waste your money, it's an expanded People Magazine article.

    Informative, not tabloid-ish

    I enjoyed reading about Will and Kate's long and arduous journey to the altar, made even more interesting by the inclusion of background information about their families. Will and Kate may each be a product of their pasts, but with luck and good sense, perhaps they will make their own happy ending-- and redefine the British monarchy in the process.

    Disgusting

    I found this book, if details are true, to be disturbing in the extreme on a people portrayed to be self indulgent parasitic pariahs. Figures are constantly mentioned on unnecessary money of taxpayers to go to overly self indulgent parties and trips. The events recounted make those in the royal circle to seem to unnacountably socially ignorant and driven by blind self interest. Either the facts are true or this book is complete trash and either way it is completely disgusting!

    Totally cool

    This book is really intresting. It also great to use for social studies and stuff like that. They should make a movie for the marrage like they did for facebook the social network. Bravo for england's history!

    Let the royal watching commence!

    An enjoyable read giving a look into one of the most talked about relationships of the century. It does prove though all men are basically the same regardless of status or money - they have no clue what is going on with relationships and it is up to woman to keep them in line. I think that Kate Middleton might be my new hero.

    Highly recommended

    I found this book to be very informative. Not sure what I expected but I was very surprised by how little I knew about their courtship. I think she will be a great asset to the royal family and more importantly as she has proven the best friend and a great wife for William.

    A True Life Cinderella Story

    This book, to me, gave a very in-depth look into the lives of Prince William and Catherine. You feel as if you have become a trusted friend to them after you have read the last sentence. The information within will have you reading page after page. I enjoyed this book very much.

    If you are a loyal Royal family reader, you will love the inside story on this love affair. It's the fairytale of every girl's dream come true. This is a real love story not like what they tried to pass off to us when Charles and Di were getting married. Very interesting.
