Ian Doescher has written a third and final exceptional installment to his Shakespearean Star Wars trilogy. The characters he has developed are phenomenal. My favorite scene, in particular, involves Darth Vader contemplating the fate of his son, and he thus transforms into Anakin Skywalker. Quite a powerful scene, reminiscent of many Elizabethan plays, and it does not disappoint. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys both Shakespeare and Star Wars. I am a huge fan of both, and I thoroughly have enjoyed this trilogy!

And if at all possible, you must search on YouTube for a recording of Ian McDiarmid (the Shakespearian-trained actor who played the Emperor, just in case you didn't recognise the name) at a panel of Star Wars Celebration reading selected scenes onstage. It will give you goosebumps.
