I read the Publisher's Notes on this book and was floored by the historical inaccuracies. King Alexander III was not assassinated. Edward I did not attempt to put his niece on the Scottish throne. The gap in the Scottish succession was not caused by anything Edward did. And that's just in the first few sentences! If the publisher can't get it right, how can anyone trust what the book says?
