    Let's Party

Parties have always been something of interest for me. As a young girl, I used to have tea parties with all of my stuffed animals. I had quite a few, which required a vivid imagination in setting them in place! Then growing up I helped with parites for my parents (they were both teachers and did a fair amount of entertaining of their staffs). As a young mother of two girls, parties became a source of entertainment for a rainy afternoon, or just a fun time in the back yard. During the "growing up" years of my daughters I became their Girl Scout Leader(s), yes for both of their troops, there were Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Easter parties, and just parties for the fun of it. This book was a great "find" and really caught my attention because it had a TIKI party! My husband and I have become quite enamored with Hawaii, its culture and that good old "ALOHA" feeling. Our back yard is very Hawaiian, our interior has a great deal of ALOHA in the decorations, pictures and feel. We now have four grandchildren, three adoreable boys, and a precious little girl. 'Kids Parties' has ideas for themed parties as well as easy recipes for food, decorating ideas, party favors, games, and more! Our birthdays and Holiday celebrations will be so much fun using this wonderful book of party ideas. I can't wait til summer to have our Williams Sonoma TIKI party! I am please to add this book to my collection of William Sonoma recipe books, thanks William Sonoma for another wonderful and helpful book!
