    THIS BOOK CHANGED MY LIFE

    Before I read this book, I was the most unpopular kid in high school. Then I started a checkers club, i was captain. We had the finals in the libary at lunch. Thank god I read Chapter 8 on 'double jumps' you know like king me, double jump? We didn't have cheerleaders, but I feel I had my athletic moment in the sun. Today, at the age of 49, i run a non profit organization expelling the virtues of virginity. I recommend this book to everyone who comes in

    Well written

    This is a good book for a beginner or an intermediate. It is organized and written very well. This is a good book to start with and then you can browse other books for a few extra game examples. The book takes you through the easy stuff and works towards the more difficult concepts. The book will surprise you on how much there really is to know about checkers. I enjoyed the book.
