Editorial Reviews

Miami, FL - Julia Busch
Amazing how one author can move so effortlessly from the western genre he is most noted for to the slick world of high stakes finance and the "own your own jet" set to the jungles and rice paddies of Vietnam. There are constants in Martin's writing, however: impeccable research, characters so well developed that you'd swear you personally know them, well drawn visual descriptions, heart pulsing excitement, breathtaking suspense, a well-honed craft, and a just and moral ending. The characters are well-developed and the plot intriguing. I liked moving back and forth between locales, including the ultra-urban San Francisco and the rural ranch. I could easily picture both - and seeing the hero in both helped define his character in interesting ways. Without giving anything away, I have to say that I alter
