Much of the book is a repeat of the materials in a Windows 95 or 98 book. The included CD is an electronic copy of the book, and probably should have been sold separately, or as an option. It is missing at least one important function: MS Outlook. Both Outlook and the Outlook Exchange have changed in significant ways in ME, so the lack of a section on Outlook leaves a real gap in the information. (If it's there, I couldn't find it.) The book is encyclopedic in its coverage, and Outlook appears to be the only significant gap. As a previous user of all the various versions of Windows, there is much of the book that is of no use to me. A beginner, or a help desk professional, who need a complete reference will find it adequate, if they can find supplementary info on Outlook.
