In 1912, Anderson had a nervous breakdown that led him to abandon his business and family to become a writer.

A very well-written historical novel with some gothic elements. I really enjoyed it.
Lots of errors hard to read
the scan didn't translate the letters very well so this book is hard to read.
Worst book I read
