I didn't see much purpose in this book. I was expecting a mystery but it was mostly a silly account of a woman who drops her planned wedding date to attempt to hold a wedding within a few weeks so that she can attend a tea for Queen Elizabeth (8,000 people attending). The "mystery" part didn't even appear until the second half of the book and wasn't much of a mystery. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I enjoyed this book. It was very interesting how she can write in all of the different characters & keep them straight in her mind...and have the readers be able to keep the characters straight, too. I felt sorry for the garden gnome, traveling all around the world and finally getting back home for the wedding. It was just one of the 9 'laugh out loud' series that Sharyn McCrumb wrote. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
