Overview

Danger and death await the Sleepers as they're once again called upon to foul the plans of the Dark Lord!

Evil Lord Necros desires to enlist new soldiers in his army, and he's chosen the People of the Desert.  When they refuse, the Dark Lord makes an alliance with the Winged Ones--men who fly like birds.  These men steal from the desert people.  Even worse, they capture and enslave them!

The Sleepers seek peace from the Winged Ones, but as they set out to make a new alliance, they themselves are captured and enslaved.  Instead of giving them over to the Dark Lord, the Winged Ones offer them a chance to join their ranks, the learn to fly!  But in doing so, the Sleepers must take a dangerous step of faith.

Their only hope is to wrest the Winged Ones away from the power of the Dark Lord--a desperate and seemingly futile last resort.

The Seven Sleepers Series includes:
-Flight of the Eagles-#1
-The Gates of Neptune-#2
-The Sword of Camelot-#3
-The Caves That Time Forgot-#4
-Winged Raiders of the Desert-#5

I love this series. But the book "Rangers Apprentice" is just a touch better.

    WHAT A GOOD BOOK!!

This was the most awesome book in the world!! I loved it! The sleepers get captured by the winged raiders and get turned into slaves. the book is mainly about one of the younger sleepers called jake. he is a very obnoxious, loud, and opinionated guy and it makes for great reading. i really liked the way the people strap wings to their back and fly. it was a really good book!

    this is the BEST book!!!

This book rocks! Josh, Sarah, Jake, Reb, dave, abbey, and wash are ordered to go to the savage desert people to make peace. the two desert clans are at each others throats and josh and the clan get captured and turned into slaves. will they be able to live thru the torture of slavery and be able to stand up for their leader, Goel? Could they stand even if their very lives are being threatened to be taken away?
