Wow! Throw me in the cockpit, baby! I'm ready to dance!

This book will really get you pumped to fly a combat aircraft. Wilcox has collected some of the best stories to circulate around a squadron ready room and compiled them into this book. The tales here come from the pilots themselves, or from others who would know, as told to the author. This is the sequel to his previous book 'Scream of Eagles', which dealt with jet air combat during the Viet Nam war. This book is a 'There I was at 30,000 feet in my F4 when Control vectored my flight to bogies 15 miles out. We kicked in the AB and took it down low to try for a Sparrow shot at Mach 1 ...'. Some stories are gripping, others are tragic, a few are humorous. A good inspirational read for those more challenging flight simulator air combat sessions. Your heart rate may never return to its resting phase after reading this book.
